IKCO was founded in 1962, and has become the largest vehicle manufacturer in the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa.
The concept of design began from the most important thing in the car exterior designing, which is “Originality”. It shows the “Family tree” of the car. Samand and Dena were the most important ancestors of IKCO Car producing company.
Being familiar with last generation, but in modern way by using the last design concepts and cutting-edge technologies in lightening system technologies will empower the car to be preferable for both old fashion people and modern people.
The geometry of the bumper follows other parts according to Gestalt psychology. Also, all the parts has been created based on their function.
Horse is the most nostalgic animal for Persian people. The concept of company’s brand is a horse. So, having a smooth surface with emphasis on edges that remembers a fast horse was the target of body design.
IKCO B class car design

SAIPA car designing competition 2015
SAIPA was established in 1965, and from 2000, launched its own design and in 2008 "SAIPA National Engine 231" was introduced. Now it exports its car to the most countries in the Middle East.
SAIPA CONCEPT DESIGN
The car designing project was called “Tiba”.
Tiba in Persian means Gazelle or Deer.
Also, Gazelle in myths and novels of Persia is well known for its speed. The concept of design in the competition was Gazelle as well.
Mini SUV cars are considered as a combination of off road cars and urban cars. It should have both muscle features like off road cars and normal features like other cars. That’s why designing this size of cars is a big challenge for car designers.

The most interesting part of Saipa car design competition was the tendency of the company to do not announce the winner of the competition. They put a Tiba2 for the 1st person's award in the faculty of Fine Art of the University of Tehran for 2 years and in the end they did not introduce the winner and removed the car!
It was really suspicious that after 5 years they introduced Shahin, the car you can see on the left hand, and it was similar to my design on the right hand side!!!
